2 legitimate websites that will pay you money to write blog posts

Sometimes businesses, especially smaller operations or startups, may not have the resources, time, or staff to constantly create new, relevant, and useful content for their websites and company blogs.
That’s why they hire freelance bloggers.
Also called ghostblogging or SEO writing, freelance blogging is a great job if you enjoy:
- Working from anywhere (that has an Internet connection)
- Setting your own hours
- Learning useful new skills that you can use for life
- Helping businesses worldwide increase their customer base and generate more revenue
I have experience writing blog posts and Web content for three legitimate freelance blogging websites: Crowd Content, Content BLVD, and Writtent.com.
Let’s take a closer look at each of these:
1. Crowd Content
Crowd Content lists a variety of available digital copywriting projects, such as blog posts, product descriptions, and other types of web content.
Writers scan through these listings and choose which project they would like to work on.
Depending on the length and complexity of the project, deadlines can range from a day to a few days to submit your work.
As a Crowd Content writer, you first start off with an initial ranking (based on your experience and assessment by the Crowd Content team), which dictates things like your starting base pay rate and the number of projects you can claim at any one time.
As you submit more projects and meet all deadlines, you move up in ranking and get rewarded with perks such as higher bonuses and payrates and a higher cap on the number of projects you can claim.
If you’re an accountable person who follows through and delivers on projects that meet deadlines, then Crowd Content would be a good site for you to check out.
2. Writtent.com
Writtent.com is another blog post content provider site with a unique twist.
They launch content contests and invite writers to provide their ideas for blog posts.
The client then chooses a topic they would like developed into a post on their blog. The writer is then put in contact with the client and a blog post is born!
Alternatively, Writtent.com may also assign a project manager to a writer.
Together, they form a creative team.
This creative team works together in developing a blog post that fits the client’s topic, deadline, and specific instructions on what to write.
The project manager handles all communications with the client that is requesting the blog post, and will be your resource for submitting drafts, facilitating revisions, and answering any questions you might have.
If you’re somebody who wants more structure and prefers having somebody to give you instructions and help, then Writtent.com could be a good fit for you.
Conclusion
Freelance blogging could be a rewarding and exciting part- or full-time career.
The ideal freelance blogger is someone who enjoys learning, writing, and helping others.
Of course, it also helps if you can create useful blog posts with killer content that get high search engine rankings.
But like anything in life, you need to learn it before you earn it.

I have a question: I’ve always liked to write – I write mostly poems that one day I hope I am able to get published. But right now I am homeless, and I use computers from a library. I have no bank account, no job, no income, and no credit/debit card. I like to work – I just can’t work like I used to. Is there a free blogging site that will pay you and let you pay later? I know it may be a silly question – but when you’re struggling with the bare essentials, and you’re desperate, I figure it can’t hurt.

I am not sure if I follow what you mean by “pay you and let you pay later”? The sites I recommended do not require any sort of payment from the content writer, however to pay you they usually use PayPal, which requires either a bank account or a credit card.
What are you doing to get these poems in front of the most amount of eyeballs so that your goal of becoming published and paid a living wage can become a reality faster?
