1) Resend to Non-Openers (Easy Win)
Here’s the cold hard truth about email marketing: a big chunk of your list never even saw your email newsletter.
So give it a second shot.
Within 24–48 hours, resend the same email newsletter only to people who didn’t open.
But make 3 changes:
- Use a different subject line
- Change the first sentence
- Keep it short with one main link
That’s it.
This alone can often add 30–70% more opens on the same email newsletter—because you’re not “spamming,” you’re catching people who were busy, distracted, or just missed it.

- Clicked any link in the last 90 days

Then you can send to the rest later… or move the coldest segment into a reactivation plan.

Step 1: Create two segments

Then resend 24–48 hours later with:
- new subject line

- If subscriber is in “Cold list” → send a short 2–3 email reactivation series
- If they don’t open/click → suppress them

Save a template that starts with:
- quick intro
- one hero link
- 2–3 optional bullets
This keeps your email newsletter skimmable and click-friendly.
And that’s a good thing when people’s attention is being divided in so many ways.
