A free thing you can do RIGHT NOW to live the life you want

Chances are good you already have a daily grind aka “real job”.

However, if your daily grind is not EXACTLY what you WANT to be doing, then that means you are not living the life YOU want. So how do we change that right NOW from the get for FREE?

But please...no whistling.
But please…no whistling.

Add a side hustle to your daily grind

What do you love to do in your freetime when you have no responsibilities? Do you build stuff in the woodshed? Brew your own beer? Instagram the heck out of stuff?

These things could potentially be turned into side hustles.

Will you get paid for it?

Three words: I don’t know.

It really depends on if you are good or terrible at it. That’s on you.

Since a side hustle is just that, a hustle and not a real “job” (yet), then the beauty is you have NOTHING TO LOSE and EVERYTHING TO GAIN.

Experience, knowledge, network contacts, heck even just a cool story would be worth the trouble to start a side hustle for fun just to see where it leads.

However, I do know from my own experience and from speaking with others that the side hustle method of re-routing your life’s GPS to Dreamville (population: you) works. How often? We’ll never know.

Sometimes in life, you won’t get a definitive answer or “green light”. You just need to try for yourself and find out.

Enough with the “I don’t have time right now” or “Maybe after I do some more thinking about it and outline my thoughts…” Wrong.

If you have to do an outline or think more than 20 seconds about how you can turn your passion into a side hustle FOR FUN then…I’m sorry, maybe you need to re-think what it is that you TRULY love to bring to the table.

Sorry to smash your dreams, but I am a straight talker when warranted in between all the clowning and happy fun times.

So listen up…this is one of those “serious” times. Because I love helping people find what they want, in life, in business, and wherever else I can help. It’s serious business to me.

And if I can’t help, then I’ll let you know, but I can at least back you because that’s what I like to do anyway. Example time…

My side hustle

I love to write.

I love to create.

I love to tell stories about experiences and lessons learned.

I love discussing ways that can help others with their lives.

As a side hustle, I have created this blog, connected it to my Twitter, and I do freelance writing for small businesses.

I do my thing. I hustle my grind and grind my hustle. And the cost to start it? Free.

WordPress offers a free blog. Twitter is free. I used them and paid nothing.

OK, granted I paid GoDaddy Bluehost for the URL and hosting, and I also upgraded my WordPress to a paid level for more options and flexibility.

But those were my ancillary choices that followed my one big FREE choice: to just step up and do it.

Nothing worthwhile happens overnight

If it does, then chalk it up to luck (which is unreliable and unreliable doesn’t pay bills).

So you grind.

You hustle.

You learn.

You grow.

You dare.

You dream.

You do.

Last time I checked, all those resources are also free, but you just have to tap into them, either in yourself or through seeking the guidance of others on the level (and not poisoning your dream).

That’s what I did.

And it’s what I’m doing now and will continue to do until I can convert my side hustle into full-time daily grind.

Try what you truly love doing as a side hustle.
If you get paid or not is irrelevant.

Knowledge and experience are worth more than any check.

Also, you should have a daily grind to pay your bills. That’s important.
