Laser Vision...ACTIVATE!
Laser Vision…ACTIVATE!

Spending this NFL Conference Championships weekend re-doing the site into the blog you see now. I still don’t think it’s 100% finished, but if you think about it…not many projects are ever truly finished.

I’ve been testing various WordPress templates and using Paint.NET for the masthead. The new logo was provided courtesy of my friend Adam Femino. Check him out for all your graphic design needs.

Also, on Friday I got LASIK surgery on both eyes at Boston Laser. It didn’t really hurt, but it was weird to have my eyes clamped open “Clockwork Orange” style during the procedure (I was given a valium beforehand, which made me super sleepy during the procedure, which was about 15 minutes for both eyes.) Afterwards my folks drove me back to my place and I’ve rested up most of the weekend. I’m still recovering and my vision isn’t quite 20/20 (yet), but my eyes are healing.

I settled on LASIK and Boston Laser for my surgery on the positive word of mouth recommendation from my friend who had the surgery in 2011. I’ll probably still need glasses when I get to middle age, but hopefully the 10+ years of clear vision will be worth it.

That’s all for now. Off to watch the Pats take on the Ravens. GO PATS!
