Yes, can I please have a large rush hour trafficcino! Great, now I’m latte for work! See, two can play at this “Coffun” game!
Yes, can I please have a large rush hour trafficcino! Great, now I’m latte for work! See, two can play at this “Coffun” game!

Here at Idea Hunters, we hope to bring you the hardest hitting news and…actually, no. I’m not a news site. Leave that to other sites. I’m just a dude with a website talking about business, marketing, pop culture, and whatever else comes to mind. For now. Tomorrow, it could be about chili. Who knows.

Anyway, I will be doing a regular segment called Small Business, Bigger Ideas where I will be spotlighting small businesses that are not only hustling at The Game and successful, but are also purveyors of good vibes and great ideas. Basically, I’ll talk about local small businesses that I think are cool and are part of the solution, not the problem. Because a lot of blogs focus on the negative. I am trying to focus on the positive, because maybe then we can uncover a solution. Or at least think.

And now, on to the first SBBI spotlight, Boston Brewin Coffee!

Below is an awesome idea is from the business owner, Tom Barnes on the Boston Brewin ‘About’ section from their Facebook page:

I hope to open up 20 locations in the Boston metropolitan area and give them away free to deserving managers who have worked their way through the perils of small business. Once, that individual has proved his/her abilities, the shop is all theirs!

I don’t want much in return and it is not money. What I am looking for is a commitment to community service dedicated to the local area of each location.

Prove you can run a Boston Brewin’ Coffee Company location and it is all yours for the low price of weekly and monthly community service.

This is a fantastic way to support the community while also building a business and being a job…or should I say java creator!
